Found this one on eBay last night with only three hours to go, and it was local!

Picked it up this morning. :yes:

It looks pretty good, some minor veneer chips and a bad finish but otherwise very decent. It has a 10FP4 replacement CRT from CalVideo, haven't tested it yet but hoping for the best. I don't understand why there's an Ion trap on this aluminized tube but maybe whoever replaced it didn't know any better, or maybe it uses a bent gun??

The 8TS30 was the first vintage set I ever owned, I bought one around 1980 and sold it in 1997 but since regretted it, now I have another! :thmbsp:

I like the looks too, it actually looks more like the prewar sets with the black grille and the deco-ish look.

Actually it does show a small amount of G1 leakage but I'm pretty sure that's because it got a little damp riding home in the back of my truck in the rain.
