The museum I work for has a Capehart-Farnsworth Model 321 TV that we are going to display starting next month, however it is missing all of its knobs.
I need a source for the correct knobs. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Do you have any idea what the original knobs look like? Does the channel selector have a large gap between numbers 2 and 13? There are some Capehart fans here who may be able to help.

I have no idea what the original knobs looked like. I've seen some photos of the floor standing model which I believe is the same TV in a larger cabinet. But they are all too far away to see the knobs in any detail. Even if someone can make detail photos of the knobs so we can create dummy replacements, it would be most helpful.
I've attached a photo I found on the web, it's the best image I've found so far.
The actual TV that we are going to display belonged to Hank Williams, Sr.

High-resolution scans attached.

The 321's knobs are brown, the color of a Hershey bar. Ignore the gold-plating in the scans. The 325, like you pictured in your last post, has gold-plated knobs.

As rp2813 hinted at, there were 2 tuners, one of which had the channels evenly spaced around 360-degrees, the other had them spaced about 200 degrees with a large gap between channel 2 and 13. You can tell which one your is by whether or not you can spin the channel selector forever, or if you can only turn it half a turn in either direction and it stops. Both types of knob are shown.

If your knobs are missing, then probably so is the brass badge (?). Here's a picture of that:

There's an off-sound-on knob in eBay 130198549885. 2nd photo, dead center is a large gold knob. The Capehart knob is just to the right of it and partially on top of it. I don't see the matching tuner knob, but it's a start, and maybe it could give your mock-up guys something to work off of. It looks like there are some other knobs that wouldn't be "correct" but might look presentable, for the two smaller knobs. If that helps.

Thank you very much for the detail photos with measurements and the color info. We are putting the tv in a case in the next week or so, so your pictures are just in time.

Yes, the brass badge is missing also, thank you for that image. The tv was in terrible condition when we received it.

If anyone is in the Nashville, TN area come by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum after the exhibit opens on March 28th.
